Make a donation

If you are looking to make a donation to the trust to support its activities, then you can send a cheque made payable to "Wendover Arm Trust" to the Trust Secretary at 69 Wenwell Close, Aston Clinton, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP22 5LG.

If you give £1 in the normal way, the Trust will receive precisely £1. But if you complete the donation form when you give your donation and say you would like to Gift Aid your £1, the Trust will receive £1.28 - in other words increasing the value of your gift by 28%.

This is possible because the Trust can claim back the basic rate income tax that you have already paid. If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim a personal benefit - worth 23 pence for every £1 donated. You can either claim this as a personal benefit or choose to give it to charity.

Wedding gifts benefit Trust

Tony & Sue Tompkins of Buckland have taken the novel approach of nominating phase 2 of the restoration project to be the recipient of donations in lieu of gifts for their recent wedding!
